Animal Lovers Win Claim Against W. Hollywood

LOS ANGELES (CN) - A California appeals court agreed with an animal rights group that challenged West Hollywood's ban on all "mobile billboard advertising" as unconstitutional.

The Second Appellate District Court agreed with Showing Animals Respect and Kindness, which said West Hollywood's ban on all "mobile billboard advertising" of any kind, at any time, on any street, is an unconstitutional interference with its freedom of speech under the U.S. and California constitutions.
