Amazon Shift Managers

A federal court in California refused to certify a class of Amazon Level 4 shift managers who claim they were misclassified as exempt employees under state law and were not paid overtime. The plaintiff failed to show a class action would be manageable and did not meet his burden to show common issues would predominate over the class member’s individualized issue.

The plaintiff failed to show a class action would be manageable and did not meet his burden to show common issues would predominate over the class member’s individualized issue.
