Alexa, You’ve Been Sued

Two Los Angeles residents sued Amazon.com in federal court, claiming its Alexa device keeps permanent records of their voices, which Amazon uses for its own commercial benefit, which violates California law, “which prohibits the recording of private oral communications without the consent of all parties to the communication.”
