Alabama redistricting

MONTGOMERY, Ala. — The Alabama branch of the NAACP filed a pair of lawsuits challenging the state’s new congressional redistricting plan, arguing it will dilute the voting power of Black citizens by packing many of them into one district and breaking up other Black communities.
