MINNEAPOLIS (CN) – American International Group and nine other insurance companies defrauded the Minnesota Workers’ Compensation Insurers Association of millions of dollars by systematically submitting false data since 1979, the state agency claims in Hennepin County Court. Here are the defendants: American International Group Inc.; AIU Insurance Company; AIG Casualty; American Home Assurance Company; Commerce & Industry Insurance Company; Granite State Insurance Company; Illinois National Insurance Company; National Union Fire Insurance Company of Pittsburgh, Pa.; New Hampshire Insurance Company; and the Insurance Company of the State of Pennsylvania.
