Ahern Rentals Accused Of Labor Abuses

(CN) - It's not a good week for Ahern Rentals. A class-action complaint in San Diego Superior Court claims that Ahern's employment application violates the Labor Code by asking, "Have you ever been convicted of a crime (other than minor traffic violations)?" and asking for an explanation. And a worker claims in Reno Federal Court that her boss, Terry Sherwood, called her a "whore" a "bitch" and other insults, threw things at her head and cut her hours because she refused his sexual advances.
