Agent Demands $700K for ‘Chicken Soup’

SANTA ANA, Calif. (CN) - Sloanevision Unlimited claims Chicken Soup for the Soul Enterprises owes it $700,000 for its work as a licensing agent. Sloanevision claims that under a 1997 contract it was to get 30% of gross revenue from North American licensing deals it arranged and 45% of gross revenue outside North America. It claims the defendants canceled the contract in 2008 owing it at least $700,000.

Here are the defendants: Mark V. Hansen, Jack Canfield, Patty Hansen, Patty Aubrey, claims Chicken Soup for the Soul Enterprises Inc., and claims Chicken Soup for the Soul Enterprises LLC.
