Agency Seeks More Input on Northern Spotted Owl

WASHINGTON (CN) - The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has extended the public comment period on its proposal to designate critical habitat for the northern spotted owl to July 6.

The extension is to allow all interested parties to comment simultaneously on the proposal and the soon-to-be-released draft economic analysis and draft environmental impact statement on the proposed rule.
