WASHINGTON (CN) - President Obama has directed all federal agency heads to submit a detailed plan of actions each agency will take to engage in regular and meaningful consultation and collaboration with sovereign Native American Tribes in the development of Federal policies that have tribal implications.
Additionally, each agency must submit a progress report on the status of each action included in its plan together with any proposed updates to its plan.
