LAS VEGAS (CN) - Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf say companies are using their names and trademarks on Web sites without permission. Pro tennis' "It" couple filed separate cybersquatting claims in Federal Court.
Agassi claims in his lawsuit that on Oct. 4, 2001, Standard Bearer Enterprises registered the domain name andre-agassi.com. Garvin Advertising Agency is accused of registering andre-agassi.net on Feb. 22, 2009. DomainsByProxy allegedly registered andre-agassi.info on June 3, 2007.
Graff claims Marketing Express registered the site steffigraf.com on June 1, 2001. Domain Admin is accused of registering steffigraf.net on March 9, 2009, while Alexander Shadikhan allegedly registered steffigraf.info on March 31, 2009.
The couple, who live in Las Vegas, claim all the sites were registered without their consent. They seek ownership of the domain names.
Both are represented by Michael McCue with Lewis Roca.
