AFSCME Locals Sue Air Force Secretary

WASHINGTON (CN) - "A civilian cannot be required to wear a military uniform," 14 AFSCME locals say in suing the Secretary of the Air Force, who allegedly is forcing civilian air reserve technicians to wear military uniforms. This illegal policy "confuses military and civilian status in an era when having or not having the protections of the Geneva Conventions is all too real an issue," the federal complaint states.
