Adoption Gone Wrong

A federal judge in Colorado dismissed, without prejudice, a negligence and fraud suit against a Chinese adoption agency brought by parents who adopted a mentally ill teenager who raped their other kids. The parents’ claims are “too conclusory” to prove the agency breached a duty to “reasonably investigate” the teenager’s health.
