Adoption consent

COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Ohio Supreme Court upheld the denial of maternal grandparents’ request to adopt two children without the consent of the father who murdered the child’s mother. The court ruled a parent’s right to consent to adoption isn’t extinguished when they have had little contact with their children because they were complying with a no-contact order.
