Actress Sues Studios Over Heat Exhaustion

LOS ANGELES (CN) - The producers of the police drama "The Shield" on FX Networks filmed an episode outside on a stifling June day in Los Angeles, causing actress Jane Heller to suffer heat exhaustion, Heller claims in Superior Court.

She sued Sony Pictures Television, Fox Television Studios, Prospect Studios, Madkid Productions and The Barn Productions for medical expenses and lost pay, saying they failed to offer first aid or safe working conditions.
