LOS ANGELES (CN) - Alarm King and its officers James L. Roche and Debra A. Roche got off easy for abusive telemarketing in a stipulated judgment in Federal Court. A federal judge fined them $2.4 million but suspended all but $20,000 of it, unless they violate terms of the order and injunction, or unless the government finds that they lied about their assets, in which case they will have to cough it all up.
