The city of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, and carafem settled a federal lawsuit brought by the abortion provider, which challenged the city’s attempt to obstruct it from performing surgical abortions by passing a zoning ordinance that restricted where such procedures could occur.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The city of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, settled a federal lawsuit brought by the abortion provider Carafem over the city’s attempt to obstruct it from performing surgical abortions by passing a zoning ordinance that restricted where such procedures could occur.
