Abortion Billboard Must Come Down

ALAMOGORDO, N.M. (CN) - A state judge ordered a New Mexico man to remove a billboard he erected that implied his ex-girlfriend had an abortion. The billboard shows Greg Fultz, 35, holding the outline of a baby and states: "This Would Have Been A Picture Of My 2-Month Old Baby If The Mother Had Decided To Not KILL Our Child!"

State District Judge James Counts, in Alamogordo, issued the ruling as part of a preliminary order of protection for Fultz's former girlfriend.

A court official recommended the billboard be removed after Fultz's ex-girlfriend, Nani Lawrence, took him to court for harassment and violation of privacy when the billboard appeared in May on the city's main thoroughfare.

It was unclear from media reports if the woman had an abortion or a miscarriage.
