Planned Parenthood of the Heartland et al. sued Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds et al. in federal court, claiming she cited the Covid-19 pandemic to issue an <a href="http://www.courthousenews.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/03/Abortion.pdf"><strong>unconstitutional proclamation</strong></a> effectively banning abortion; a <a href="http://www.courthousenews.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/03/Abortion.Okla_..pdf"><strong>similar complaint</strong></a> was filed in Oklahoma City Federal Court.

IOWA CITY — Planned Parenthood of the Heartland claims in a federal complaint that Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds cited the Covid-19 pandemic to issue an unconstitutional proclamation effectively banning abortion; a similar federal complaint was filed in Oklahoma City.
