A Federal Lawsuit for the Internet Age

MINNEAPOLIS (CN) - A Social Media Marketing University claims in Federal Court that the National Institute for Social Media competes unfairly by violating its "Certified Social Media Strategist" trademark.

Paradise Media Ventures LLC dba Interactive Media Ventures aka Social Media Marketing University sued the National Institute for Social Media LLC and its manager Eric Richard Mills.

Paradise alleges unfair competition under the Lanham Act, deceptive trade, and personal liability for Mills.

This lawsuit is self-explanatory.

The plaintiff is represented by Christopher Larus with Robins, Kaplan, Miller & Ciresi.
