9th Circuit To Rehear Student Strip-Search Case

SAN FRANCISCO (CN) - The 9th Circuit has agreed to rehear claims that a school district violated the Fourth Amendment rights of a 13-year-old girl by forcing her to strip in a fruitless search for prescription-strength ibuprofen that she allegedly handed out to classmates. A three-judge panel dismissed her claims last September.
