9th Circuit

ATTORNEY FEES - The 9th Circuit refused to dismiss a lawsuit accusing Bridgeport Financial of misrepresenting consumers' rights in an initial collection letter by requiring debtors to dispute their debts in writing. The court also found that the district court did not specifically identify which facts made the plaintiff counsel's requested hourly rates unreasonable.
