93 Drug Testers Sue NFL

MANHATTAN (CN) - The National Football League illegally fired 93 employees who worked as Drug Program Agents in the NFL's drug-testing program, to retaliate for their complaints of age discrimination, the workers claim in Federal Court.

They claim the NFL violated labor laws, refused to pay FICA taxes and unemployment taxes, failed to withhold federal taxes, and illegally misclassified them as independent contractors, among other things. Their lead counsel is Schnader Harrison Segal & Lewis.
