8th Circuit

ELECTIONS - Plaintiffs, who successfully claimed that the Indiana legislature enacted a statewide legislative redistricting plan that violated the Voting Rights Act of 1965, sought the recovery of witness fees. The 8th Circuit denied plaintiffs' fee request for services incurred before the effective date of the Voting Rights Act Reauthorization and Amendments Act of 2006.
