8th Circuit

SECURITIES - The 8th Circuit affirmed dismissal of a class action accusing Possis Medical, a catheter maker, of causing the value of stocks to drop significantly by releasing study results that did not support expanded usage of the catheter. The court found that the study did not infer knowledge of wrongdoing and stock sales by employees did not establish motive or opportunity to support the inference.
