70 Ill From Cookie Dough, Sufferer Says

SEATTLE (CN) - A Washington woman says she got E. coli food poisoning from recalled Nestle cookie dough. At least 70 people have been infected with E. coli since the recall on June 18, according to the federal complaint.

The company recalled a long list of products, including its Toll House cookie dough.

Lindsay Phillips says she ate the cookie dough on several occasions before she became ill with lower abdominal pain and bloody diarrhea. She tested positive for E. coli, according to her federal complaint.

Phillips seeks medical expenses and damages for pain and suffering. She is represented by William Marler with Marler Clark.
