6th Circuit

EMPLOYMENT, CIVIL RIGHTS - A woman was laid off from Brewer Co. and never contacted to return to work. The 6th Circuit reversed a ruling for the company because a reasonable jury could have concluded that the employee's layoff was the product of gender discrimination. Plaintiff was qualified for her position and she was replaced by a man. See ruling.
