55 Years for Courthouse Bombing

SAN DIEGO (CN) - Donny Love Sr., 44, was sentenced to 55 years in prison for the May 2008 bombing of the San Diego Federal Courthouse.

Love is the last defendant to be sentenced for the May 4, 2008 pipe bombing. A federal jury convicted him in June 2011 of attempted use of a weapon of mass destruction. He was sentenced Friday.

Rachelle Lynette Carlock and Ella Louise Sanders both have been sentenced to 10 years in federal prison, Eric Reginald Robinson to 11 years.

Love was accused of leading the conspiracy. No one was hurt when the bomb went off.
