4th Circuit

ATTORNEYS - The 4th Circuit rejected an immigration attorney's contention that the conversations he had with two witnesses after he had been indicted on charges of immigration fraud violated his right to counsel. The retention of counsel for indicted offenses does not give a defendant license to engage in new criminal activity, the court ruled.
