VANCOUVER, B.C. (CN) - Straight-to-video movie company Mar Vista Entertainment says seven Vancouver-based production companies, all operating out of the same address, owe it $489,000 in loans for six movies.
Mar Vista sued Past Sins Productions, Fast Productions, 7 Things Productions, Dark Protocol Productions, MBIM Productions, My Daughter is Missing Productions, and Fast (Tornado) Productions, all of the same service address, in B.C. Supreme Court.
Mar Vista claims the defendants failed to repay a $116,000 loan for the film "Past Sins," $148,000 for "The Last Month," $51,000 for "Tornado Warning," $35,000 for "Stolen Innocence," $73,000 for "A Decent Proposal," and $66,000 for "Vivid Dreams."
