42 Cities Sue LA County Over Taxes

LOS ANGELES (CN) - Forty-two cities claim Los Angeles County overcharges them more than $4 million a year to collect property taxes.

Alhambra and 41 other cities are represented in Superior Court by Holly Whatley with Colantuono & Levin.

Here are the plaintiffs: Alhambra, Arcadia, Artesia, Baldwin Park, Bell Gardens, Bellflower, Bradbury, Calabasas, Carson, Cerritos, Commerce, Covina, Culver City, Diamond Bar, Gardena, Glendale, Glendora, Hawaiian Gardens, Hawthorne, La Habra Heights, La Mirada, Lakewood, Lawndale, Lomita, Long Beach, Lynwood, Montebello, Monterey Park, Norwalk, Paramount, Pico Rivera, Pomona, Redondo Beach, Rosemead, San Dimas, Santa Fe Springs, Sierra Madre, Signal Hill, South El Monte, South Gate, West Covina, Whittier.
