3rd Circuit

COMMUNICATIONS - Business Edge Group brought an action alleging that Champion Mortgage Co. deliberately bought a vanity telephone number containing the plaintiff's company name with the intent of selling or hoarding it, which would violate FCC regulations. The 3rd Circuit found that the defendant did not actually sell the number and remanded to determine whether the mortgage company intended to hoard it.
