3M product liability

PENSACOLA, Fla. — A federal judge denied a request for a ruling on a liability waiver in a case against 3M Co. in which 260,000 soldiers claim defective combat ear plugs gave them hearing damage. While a subsidiary took on full responsibility for all claims, nothing shows 3M is attempting to escape liability.
