3 Nations Ordered To Pay NYC $62 Million

MANHATTAN (CN) - A federal judge agrees with the City of New York that India owes it $39.4 million in property taxes, the Philippines owes it $19 million, and Mongolia owes it $4.2 million. The disputes involve residential and commercial buildings the nations own, ostensibly for use of their U.N. missions, but which also contain residences and businesses.
