$218,000 Claim for E.Coli-Tainted Beef

OMAHA (CN) - Rabe's Quality Meat claims Nebraska Beef sold it 9,454 lbs. of beef contaminated with e. coli, which Rabe's sold to Mountain City Meat Co. Mountain City claims it mixed the tainted meat into 135 tons of beef, spoiling it all. Mountain City demanded $218,000 from Rabe's; Rabes says Nebraska Beef should pay it.
