21 Years for College Football Dealer

Owen Hanson, who started his drug-dealing career while playing football at USC, was sentenced Friday to 21 years in federal prison.

SAN DIEGO — Owen Hanson, who started his drug-dealing career while playing football at USC, was sentenced Friday to 21 years in federal prison. Hanson also faces a $5 million fine and must give up three cars and three houses, in Costa Rica, Peru and Cabo San Lucas. Prosecutors say 21 other defendants have pleaded guilty.
