HOUSTON (CN) - A woman who changed her name to Teddy Bear Paradise was sentenced to 21 months in federal prison for threatening to kill President Barack Obama.
Paradise, formerly known as Denise O'Neal, pleaded guilty in August to making the threat in a letter she mailed to the president.
"She also admitted to telling two Secret Service agents of her intention to kill the president, but noting that if she could not kill him, she would find someone else to kill," the U.S. Attorney's Office said.
U.S. District Judge Gray Miller sentenced the 56-year-old Paradise on Tuesday.
