1st Circuit

IMMIGRATION - The 1st Circuit found that the Board of Immigration Appeals properly denied an Indonesian immigrant's application for asylum under the Convention Against Torture. The court held that the immigrant and his family might have feared for their safety based on their Christianity, but "isolated incidents without violence or detention" do not warrant protection.
