$14.5 Million Sought For 'Guitar Hero III'

LOS ANGELES (CN) – Harmonix Music Systems claims Activision Publishing and Redoctane owe it $14.5 million in royalties for “Guitar Hero III.” In a Superior Court filing, Harmonix says it helped develop Guitar Hero I and II, and that the three versions of the game have recorded more than $1 billion in sales.     It claims the defendant distributors used essential elements of versions I and II in version III.
