10th Circuit revives natives’ claim for reimbursements from feds

DENVER — The 10th Circuit reinstated the Northern Arapaho Tribe’s breach of contract claims against the government stemming from health care service reimbursements for overhead costs in setting up and dealing with third-party insurers. The government refused to reimburse these costs under its reading of the Self-Determination Act, but these costs were “reimbursable contract support costs” that should have been covered.
