The SEC on Monday froze the assets of Patrick Muraca, 48, of Pittsfield, Mass., and his companies NanomolecularDX and MetaborX, claiming he skimmed at least $400,000 from the $1.2 million he raised for the alleged pharmaceutical companies, and spent it, among other things, on his girlfriend’s restaurant business, in Federal Court.
