Securities Appeal

PASADENA, Calif. — The Ninth Circuit revived claims by the National Credit Union Administration Board, alleging that Nomura Home Equity Loan made false statements in its offerings of residential mortgage-backed securities purchased by liquidation of Western Corporate Federal Credit Union.

The board had settled related claims against Wachovia Mortgage Loan Trust while the appeal was pending.
