Reversing, the Ninth Circuit ruled Thursday that a dairy worker's retaliation claims against his employer's attorney should proceed because the attorney arranged to start deportation proceedings at one of the worker's depositions after he sued the company, and retaliation claims could proceed against a party who was not the employer.
