Randy Moss Says Salon Owes Him $160,000

WEST PALM BEACH (CN) - Retired NFL star Randy Moss claims a beauty salon refuses to pay back his $160,000 loan and changed its name to try to duck payment.

Moss sued Salon 301, Kelvin Jones, and Salon 301 Partners LLC, all of Palm Beach, for breach of contract.

Moss says he loaned Jones $160,000 in 2005, to be paid back in 96 monthly installments. Moss claims Jones also agreed to share business receipts from Salon 301. But he says Jones and the salon failed to deliver.

Salon 301 was dissolved in 2008 and Salon 301 Partners was created afterwards, according to the complaint in Palm Beach County Court.

Moss Says, "Salon 301 Partners LLC was established for the purpose of hindering and delaying creditors, such as Moss from collecting the debt owed by Salon 301 Inc."

Moss wants his $160,000, plus damages and attorneys' fees.

He is represented by Eduardo Rasco with Rosenthal, Rosenthal, Rasco & Kaplan, of Aventura.
