California sued American Advocate Services and 13 people in L.A. Superior Court, claiming they’ve made $2.2 million by offering “pseudo-legal services” to consumers who’ve already been ripped off by other telemarketers.

LOS ANGELES — California sued American Advocate Services and 13 people in L.A. Superior Court, claiming they’ve made $2.2 million by offering “pseudo-legal services” to consumers who’ve already been ripped off by other telemarketers.

Co-defendants include National Advisory Network Inc. and Western Surety Co.
