NFL Vet Wants $1M For Ads in Gay Mags

LOS ANGELES (CN) - Former Seattle Seahawks receiver Paul Green says the maker of "Oh Yeah!" protein bars used his photos without permission to market its product to gay men. Green sued ISS Research in Superior Court.

Green says he hired a photographer in 2003 to take pictures for his modeling portfolio.

He claims the photographer sold the pictures behind his back to ISS Research, which makes "Oh Yeah!" bars.

ISS allegedly published ads with Green's picture in the magazines "Muscle and Fitness" and "Men Only," which Green says is targeted at gay men.

Green says he "is not homosexual."

Green is represented by Douglas Johnson.
