A former U.S. Navy captain has been sentenced to six months in prison for secretly moonlighting as a paid consultant for foreign defense contractor who built an empire that cost the Navy millions of dollars.

SAN DIEGO – A former U.S. Navy captain has been sentenced to six months in prison for secretly moonlighting as a paid consultant for foreign defense contractor who built an empire that cost the Navy millions of dollars.

Jeffrey Breslau will also pay a $20,000 fine and $65,000 in restitution to the Navy – the amount the contractor paid him for insider advice about the Navy.
