ICE & the Railroad Police

The American Civil Liberties Union asked the Union Pacific Railroad Police on Wednesday to stop cooperating with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, citing several incidents in which Union Pacific officers held people they suspected of being undocumented until ICE picked them up.

LOS ANGELES – The American Civil Liberties Union asked the Union Pacific Railroad Police on Wednesday to stop cooperating with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, citing several incidents in which Union Pacific officers held people they suspected of being undocumented until ICE picked them up.

The group also sued ICE on Wednesday for not disclosing its collaboration with Union Pacific.
