A booking agent took $143,000 to get rapper Chris Brown for a concert but failed to deliver, Christopher Reed and Platinum Empire Entertainment claim in court.

HOUSTON — Sean Phillips and his company, Top Agent Entertainment, failed to book rapper Chris Brown for a concert after taking $143,000 to do so, Christopher Reed and Platinum Empire Entertainment claim in Harris County Court.

Chris Brown is not a party to the complaint.
