SHREVEPORT, La. — An appeals court revived claims that St. Francis Medical Center tried to collect more money than it was due by attaching a lien to a former patient's personal-injury proceeds, rather than submitting a claim to the insurer, which would have provided discounted rates pursuant to a contract.
