Four Women Say Bosses Got Out of Line

PORTLAND, Ore. (CN) - Four women say a frozen food distributor fired them for complaining about their bosses' outlandish sexual behavior, included one boss exposing his penis at work and another baring her breasts and showing off a sex toy she claimed to keep in her purse.

Lucia Flores, Maria Del Refugio Carmona, Rosalia Tadeo Amador and Santos Tapia claim in separate federal complaints that their bosses at Garrett Packing Co., in Milton-Freewater, Ore., created an environment of pervasive sexual harassment and fired them after they met with the company's president and human resources manager to complain as a group.

Each woman alleged similar indignities: that a female boss touched them "in intimate areas" of their bodies, called them names such as "my butt," touched their breasts or exposed her own breasts, touched them with a sex toy, showed them a sex toy or gave them a sex toy.

One woman claims that a male boss exposed his genitals at work and that both female and male bosses made crude jokes at the women's expense.

The women demand $500,000 apiece and reinstatement.

Lawrence Hunt and Kevin Tillson represent the women in their individual lawsuits against Garrett Packing Co.
